Chicago World's Fair Slideshow, 1933

1933 Chicago World's Fair - Images by Brian Cleary

One of my ongoing projects at is the acquisition and distribution of historic, vintage stock photo collections.

To date, one of my most unique and interesting such acquisitions is this collection of images from the 1933 “Century of Progress” Chicago World’s Fair.

From the
Sinclair Oil display featuring their lifesize dinosaurs, to the static display of a US Submarine, this was one of the most popular world’s fairs of our time.

My vintage photo collections provide a window into the past, to a time when life may or may not have been slower-paced and simpler, but it was at least different, for sure.
