Digitally Manipulated Images Slideshow

Digitally Manipulated photos by Brian Cleary - Images by Brian Cleary

One thing about the digital age, as we’ve photographers discovered, is that, contrary to the old adage, the camera really CAN lie. Photoshop and other photo editing software can take any digital image, scanned or from a digital camera and create a photographic reality which might not be what the photographer or camera really actually saw.

From changing faces, backgrounds, colors, lighting, etc, the creative computer user has control over his photos like never before.

This slideshow presents some of my photo manipulation efforts. In more ways than one, the digital age has breathed new life into many old images.
